Super excited that my Willie Martinez Trio, will be joining the Young New Yorkers’ Chorus’ Metropolis Treble Chorus to perform Bob Chilcott’s “Samba Mass” at The Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew on 86th St & West End Avenue on Saturday, June 4th at 7:30 pm.
The chorus will also be performing works and arrangements by Missy Mazzoli, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Angélica Negrón, Paul Doust, Rosephayne Powell and my good friend Alex Canovas, who will be conducting the Samba Mass.
I really hope you’ll come out to see me, pianist Misha Tsiganov and bassist Melissa Slocum, along with this wonderful choral group!
