By popular demand, my Sunday Afternoon Jazz Impromptu concert series is back once a month, in front of my home on President St. between Columbia and Van Brunt Streets, in my beloved Red Hook, Brooklyn!

The concerts take place the last Sunday of each month and go from 2pm to 3:30pm.

This week I’ll be featuring my crown jewel, La Familia Sextet! This ensemble has been together since 2004 with the same musicians! The sextet features Misha Tsiganov on keys, Melissa Slocum on bass, Cristian Rivera on percussion, Maximilian Schweiger on bari sax, J. Walter Hawkes on trombone and myself on drums & vocals.
